Why EFCC detains ex-Jigawa governor Saminu Turaki

Former governor of Jigawa State,Saminu Turaki, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Turaki is being detained by the EFCC for allegedly mismanaging Jigawa state’s funds during his tenure as governor.

His detention might be connected to an arrest warrant, after the EFCC’s several attempts to bring him to court failed.
