Zamfara teachers protest against LG autonomy

The Zamfara State Government has pledged its commitment to improving the salaries and wages of Primary school teachers across the fourteen local government areas of the state.

It will also ensure full implementation of the teachers promotion and the annual increments.

Secretary to the state government, Professor Abdullahi Muhammad Shinkafi disclosed this while addressing teachers who staged a peaceful demonstration to the government house in Gusau.
